Manhattan Goods Co.

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of manhattangoods.store and any purchase you make from Manhattan Goods Co.. By placing an order or using the site you agree to them. Please read them together with our Shipping, Returns & Cancellations, Payment & Security and Privacy pages, which are part of this agreement.

About these terms

This site is operated by Manhattan Goods Co. (“we”, “us”), 30 N Gould Street, Suite N, Sheridan, WY 82801. “You” means the person visiting the site or placing an order. These terms, the policies they link to and the order confirmation make up the whole agreement between you and us about your purchase. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site or place an order.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you are 18 or older, that you are authorized to use the payment card you give us, and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. You do not need an account to order.

Products and descriptions

We describe and photograph every piece as accurately as we can, and each product page lists the materials, dimensions and weight. Leather is a natural material, so grain, markings and shade vary from piece to piece, and your screen may show colors differently from the piece in your hand. Dimensions are measured flat and can vary by up to a quarter of an inch. Photographs show the piece described, sometimes with props that are not included; what is included is listed on the product page. We do not warrant that descriptions are free of error. If a piece is not as described, our return policy and warranty apply.

Prices and taxes

All prices are in US dollars and are shown before sales tax and shipping, which are added at checkout and shown before you pay. The price that applies to your order is the price shown when you place it. We may change prices at any time, but a change does not affect an order you have already placed.

We take care to price correctly, but errors happen. If a piece is listed at a clearly incorrect price, for example because of a typing or system error, we may cancel any order placed at that price, even after the order is confirmed, and we will refund any amount you have paid in full. Sales tax is collected where we are required to collect it.

Orders and acceptance

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship the piece or tell you that it has shipped. An email acknowledging that we received your order is not acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order, in whole or in part, if a piece is out of stock, if there is an error in the price or description, if we cannot verify your payment or your details, if we suspect fraud, or if the order cannot be shipped to the address you give. If we cancel after you have been charged, we refund the full amount to your card.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Your card is authorized when you place the order and charged once. The charge appears on your statement as MANHATTAN GOODS CO. You confirm that you are the cardholder or are authorized to use the card. We run address verification and card code checks on every order, and we may hold or decline an order that fails them or that looks unusual until we have confirmed the details with you. We do not sell subscriptions and do not charge your card again for anything you have not ordered. Card details are handled by our payment gateway and are not stored by us; see Payment & Security.

Shipping and delivery

We ship within the United States as described on our Shipping page. Delivery times are estimates, not promises. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the parcel to the address on your order. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, the Shipping page explains how we put it right. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather or events outside our control, but we will help you trace a parcel and, if it is lost, replace or refund it.

Returns and cancellations

You may return an unused piece within 30 days of delivery for a refund to your original card, and you may cancel an order without charge before it ships, as set out on our Returns & Cancellations page. That page is part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any right of return or refund that the law gives you.

Limited warranty

We warrant that each piece will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery, when used as intended and cared for as described. If a piece has a covered defect, we will, at our choice, repair it, replace it with the same or an equivalent piece, or refund the price you paid.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, patina, scratches or fading, stains, water, heat or sun damage, damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident or an unsuitable cleaning product, or repairs and alterations made by anyone other than us. To make a claim, email us within the warranty period with your order number and photographs of the problem.

To the extent the law allows, any implied warranty on a piece, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, lasts only as long as this written warranty. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.

Using the site

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You must not use it to commit fraud or place an order with a card you are not authorized to use, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, our systems or other people’s information, interfere with its operation, send it malicious code, collect information from it by automated means such as scraping, or use it to compete with us. We may block access to anyone who does.

Intellectual property

The site, its design, photographs, text, the name Manhattan Goods Co., our logo and the MG name plate mark belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view the site and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not copy, modify, distribute or use our content or marks for any other purpose without our written permission.

Disclaimers

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms, whether express or implied, including that the site will be uninterrupted or free from errors, or that it is free from viruses or other harmful components. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty that cannot be excluded by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the site or a purchase from us, even if we have been told they are possible. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the piece or pieces that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for any loss, claim or reasonable cost, including legal fees, that results from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from a purchase are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you have a problem, please write to us first at manhattangoodsco@gmail.com; we will try in good faith to settle it within 30 days. If we cannot, you and we agree that the state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction over the dispute, except where the law of your state gives you the right to bring a claim in the courts of the state where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated terms apply from the day they are posted, and an order is always governed by the terms in force when it was placed. This version is effective October 29, 2026. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the change.

General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up. You may not assign your rights under these terms; we may assign ours to a successor to our business. We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control. Notices to you may be sent to the email address on your order, and notices to us must be sent to the address below. These terms, with the policies they link to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site and your purchase.
