Description
A belt that does what a belt should: hold a waistband flat and stay out of sight. The leather is a single even piece, the edges are painted and burnished smooth, and the buckle is a plain brushed-nickel frame that changes nothing about a trouser line.
Full-grain leather, 3.5 mm, 1.25 in wide, cut from a single strip with edge paint and a burnished finish. A solid brushed-nickel buckle with a removable screw fastening is paired with five holes spaced 1 in apart. Stitched keeper loop, matching nickel tip.
Order a size close to your trouser waist plus 2 in (a 34 in trouser takes a 36 in belt). The fifth hole sits on the middle of the range.
Care. Wipe the leather with a dry or barely damp cloth and buff the nickel hardware with a soft cloth. Condition the leather with a neutral balm twice a year and store the piece out of direct sun.
