Description
A luggage strap is the quickest fix for a case that will not stay shut and the neatest way to join a tote to a cabin bag. This one is plain black leather with a brushed-nickel buckle and enough length to circle a large case twice.
Full-grain leather, 2.5 mm, 1.5 in wide and 60 in long, with edge-painted sides, a stitched keeper and a solid brushed-nickel buckle. Seven punched holes allow a precise fit. The leather is firm enough not to twist and soft enough to wrap a corner.
Use it to hold a case closed, to strap a coat to a bag, or to carry a tote on top of a cabin case.
Care. Wipe the leather with a dry or barely damp cloth and buff the nickel hardware with a soft cloth. Condition the leather with a neutral balm twice a year and store the piece out of direct sun.
