Description
A suit on a trip is a folding problem; this bag solves it. The Garment Weekender carries a jacket and trousers on a hanger without creasing them, then closes up into a duffel with handles and a strap, so it can go in a car trunk, on a rail and over a shoulder like any other overnight bag.
Full-grain leather, 1.8 mm, with a rigid fold line, a nickel-finished hanger hook that swivels out through a protected slot, a ventilated shoe compartment and two zip pockets for shirts and accessories. The inside is dark gray fabric with a fixed suit panel and two straps to hold garments steady. Handles are rolled and stitched; the strap is padded and detachable.
It holds one suit, two shirts, shoes and a small washbag and is shaped for a two-day business trip.
Care. Wipe the leather with a dry or barely damp cloth and buff the nickel hardware with a soft cloth. Condition the leather with a neutral balm twice a year and store the piece out of direct sun.
