Description
A travel case that keeps the look of a briefcase. The shell is a light hard frame wrapped in black full-grain leather, so it resists a crushed corner and rolls behind you like any modern case, while the leather and nickel corners give it the finish of a piece of luggage rather than a plastic shell.
A polycarbonate frame is wrapped in full-grain leather, 1.8 mm, with stitched seams, nickel-finished corner guards and a flush telescoping handle with two stops. Two low-noise wheels recess into the base, the lid opens on a long zip, and the interior carries a tie-down strap, a garment divider and a zip pocket in the lid. A combination lock is built into the zip.
The 20 in is sized to common US cabin allowances (22 x 14 x 9 in), the 26 in suits a week of clothes, and the 30 in is a long-trip case for the person who prefers one bag.
Care. Wipe the leather with a dry or barely damp cloth and buff the nickel hardware with a soft cloth. Condition the leather with a neutral balm twice a year and store the piece out of direct sun.
